For over 50 years, Alside has continued to provide leadership and excellence within the exterior building products industry. It all began in 1947, when Jerome J. Kaufman, invented America's first residential baked enamel aluminum siding. Today, they continue to be innovators in the vinyl building products industry through their continuing efforts to constantly upgrade and enhance our product offering. In addition to the corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio, Alside consists of three window manufacturing facilities, two vinyl extrusion plants, 75 company-owned Supply Centers and a research and development facility. Alside also consists of three divisions that offer fencing, garage doors and Eurostyle cabinetry for kitchen and bath.
